PayPal today launched Generosity Network, a GoFundMe-like service for individuals launching donation campaigns.

The company says the service is a safe, easy and accessible way for people to launch donation campaigns on various issues.

Each campaign will last up to 30 days and its maximum is $ 20,000. Services such as GoFundMe have helped people find donations that have gone for medical treatment or to help people in case of natural disasters.

Currently the Generosity Network serves people with serious illnesses, funerals, or natural disasters.

Donations are automatically deposited into the organizer PayPal account. Generosity Network is a separate PayPal Giving fund used by large charities to donate without transaction fees.
