New AMD Ryzen processors break Intel in performance

 


All analysts are amazed at the recently increased performance by AMD. Even the Ryzen 5 5600X processor manages to beat the best of the Intel Core i9-10900K in some games.

AMD has broken the edge of Intel desktop performance with the new Ryzen 5000 processors. The verdict came after numerous analysts tested AMD's flagship $ 799 Ryzen 9 5950X processor with 16 cores and 32 threads.

Even the base model Ryzen 5 5600X has excellent performance for $ 299. The Ryzen 9 5950X thus steals the Intel crown even in gaming. According to Tom's Hardware, the 5950X can easily Intel Core i9-10900K in eight games in 1080p and 1440p resolution.

Some other games are closer between the two rivals but Zen 3 chips beat Intel ones even in 1 thread performance.

Anandtech reported a similar situation where the 5950X could i9-10900K in most games. All analysts are amazed at the recently increased performance by AMD. Even the Ryzen 5 5600X processor manages to beat the best of the Intel Core i9-10900K in some games.

But it does not end here. AMD promises 10% more performance if users combine a Ryzen 5000 processor with a Radeon RX 6000 graphics card. According to AMD this is achieved thanks to Smart Acess Memory, a technology that allows AMD chips to access graphics card memory directly.

AMD processors are one step ahead in technology because they support PCIe 4.0 while Intel says that this support comes with the 11th generation.
