The chip is built on the 5-nanometer architecture and has the new Adreno 660 graphics. The Cortex-A78 core should offer 20% more performance than the previous generation Cortex-A77.

In early December Qualcomm will hold its first Snapdragon Summit event where it is expected to introduce the next processor for the best 2021 Snapdragon 875 smartphones.

But before the day of formalization comes, the first information has been leaked about the chip. The Snapdragon 875 will offer a 2.84Ghz Cortex-A1 core, two 2.42Ghz Cortex A-78 cores and four 1.8Ghz Cortex-A55 cores.

These specifications signal more cache and memory bandwidth, very vital aspects of processor speed.
