The Galaxy S21 will have a huge advantage over the iPhone

 


To put it in perspective, the 4,500 mAh battery of the S20 Plus lasts for about 11 hours with the screen lit at 120Hz while the battery of the iPhone 11 Pro lasts about 12 hours.

While the Galaxy Note 20 series has already hit stores, everyone’s eyes are on the Galaxy S21 and not without reason.

The phone should normally arrive in February or March and leaks of information about the components have already started.

The first information comes about the battery which has received the certification. Codenamed Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus, the certified batteries for these models are 3,880 mAh and 4,660 mAh respectively.

The S21 Plus has a 160mAh battery larger than the S20 Plus while the S21 120mAh larger than its predecessor.

To put it in perspective, the 4,500 mAh battery of the S20 Plus lasts for about 11 hours with the screen lit at 120Hz while the battery of the iPhone 11 Pro lasts about 12 hours.

The batteries will be manufactured by the Chinese company Ningde Amperex Technology Limited. With these batteries Samsung has also planned to bring 60W charging.

Based on the leaked information, the Galaxy S21 will be more of an update on the S20 with a new version of the 108-megapixel camera, the new 3D Sonic Max scanner and the Snapdragon 875 and Exynos 1000 processors.
