New G Suite option Good news for Microsoft Office users

Microsoft Office users will be able to co-edit their documents using the Google G Suite platform on Android devices. New update from Google brings support for .doc, .docx, xls and .ppt formats which are uploaded to the Google Apps suite

To date, users who uploaded their Office documents initially had to convert them to G Suite to co-edit them.

But with the introduction of the new feature, file conversion will no longer be required. All you have to do is import the files into the G suite and share it with friends and colleagues to start working together.

The good news is that Google will not only limit this option to business users but also offer it for personal accounts.
