Google Maps with a space dedicated to drivers

By pressing the "Home Screen" button they are automatically sent to the interface from where you access all calls, messages, music applications and podcasts.

In Android Auto Google Maps has been highly praised for the dedicated interface it offers and apparently the same view will be implemented in Google Maps for smartphones.

The new look is identical to that of Android Auto where the biggest difference is the large Android Auto style buttons at the bottom of the interface.

When you are not in the navigation interface, a third button appears to help you return to the map. The control buttons have large text to make it easier to click while driving.

By pressing the "Home Screen" button they are automatically sent to the interface from where you access all calls, messages, music applications and podcasts.

The call interface contains the last three calls and the three main contacts. An interface dedicated to YouTube Music, Spotify and Telegram is also included.

The new navigation is not yet active for all users but is expected to be available in the coming days.
