Samsung has announced the continuation of its horizontal folding intelligence, Galaxy Z Flip 5G

The new device has a 5G connection, a better processor and some minor software trends compared to the original.

The phone is almost identical to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip, except for the addition of 5G radios and a faster processor, reports

Samsung has upgraded the device from Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus to Snapdragon 865 Plus.

The company has also made some small software programs for its new smartphone: the tray is now "more powerful" which should give users a full Galaxy panel, and it is now easier to shoot from angles higher and lower.

YouTube has also been updated to better integrate "Flex mode", which is when the bottom of the device is used as a stand and the top is used to view content.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be available in the UK in Mystic Gray and Mystic Bronze from August 7, with a price yet to be confirmed.

In addition, the differences between the new Galaxy Z Flip model and the old one are minimal. At the back is a dual 12MP ultra-wide, wide-angle camera with 8x digital zoom and HDR10 + recording capability.

Inside, the phone has 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage, and a 3,300mAh battery.
